Charity Water: Let’s Help Quench the World’s Thirst
Very soon, our Spring 2014 CNE Program students will be handing in their final assignments and graduating as Culinary Nutrition Experts. We are so thrilled for their success, and also thrilled that thanks to our profit sharing model, for every student we taught this term, we were able to help give 2.5 people access to clean, safe drinking water. That’s over 250 people in total!
Clean water is vital to life. Many of us have the privilege of being able to choose how we want to live each day, and to decide what kind of food and water we want to use to fuel our bodies. Most people on this planet don’t have that choice, and for this they face a daily struggle for survival.
The Academy of Culinary Nutrition’s staff, faculty, students, and our graduates, the Culinary Nutrition Experts, strive every day to help those of who have the choice, to make the right choice. Along with that, we work to help people around the globe gain access to the resources they need in order to be healthy, happy, and thrive in their own communities.
Access to clean water is the first step to achieving that goal.
There are only five days left in our Charity Water campaign. If you would like to donate, we are asking for you to please share your weekly spend on juices, smoothies, coffees, tea and water to help bring fresh water to communities that don’t have that luxury.
Thank you for your amazing support!
