Course Guidelines
Please read the guidelines below before submitting your class idea to the Academy of Culinary Nutrition (ACN).
Remember: Every class at ACN must fit into one of the listed categories. If it doesn’t easily fit into one of the categories, it may not be right for us.
Our online courses follow this structure:
Videos: Students learn by watching video content and following along in the course curriculum notebook. You’ll be teaching your course through a series of short, pre-recorded video lessons that will be professionally shot and edited, unless otherwise discussed upon approval.
Additional course documents: In addition to videos, all ACN courses contain additional course documents with notes, tips and extra information for students.
What is the course creation process like?
- Submit Your Application We’ll review your idea and your expertise in this area to ensure it fits within ACN’s accepted categories and structure.
- Course Creation Once your application is approved, a member of our staff will work with you to develop a strong course syllabus, course notes and plan for video content. We will also work together to determine the best way to have your course produced, whether using our professional crew in Toronto, sourcing local resources in your area, or having you self-produce your course.
- Submit Your Class For Final Review Before any courses are made public, all courses must pass a final review. Once approved, your class will be scheduled for release and we can both begin shouting your course’s awesomeness from the rooftops!
