30 Best Gluten-Free Dinner Recipes

Gluten-free diets have exploded in popularity and the world of recipe development is much better for it. Ten years ago, amazing gluten-free dinner recipes were few and far between – but now, there are gluten-free cookbooks bursting off bookstore shelves, a variety of gluten-free products on the market (some healthier than others, mind you) and a worldwide horde of home cooks who are exploring the joys of gluten-free cooking from scratch on incredibly inspired blogs.

We’ve combed the internet, and our dining tables, to bring you our picks for the best 30 gluten-free dinner recipes. We looked at easy prep, availability of ingredients, and diversity in flavour and textures to give you weeks of dinner inspiration. We also wanted to ensure that with these meals, you won’t even notice anything is missing.

Everything we do here at the school, including our certification program, is all gluten-free. We know that not everyone in the world is gluten-sensitive, but there is a high number of people dealing with inflammatory issues, immune conditions, allergies and digestive problems who are. Eliminating gluten might just alleviate a little of that suffering.

To offer you some inspiration, we’ve compiled our 30 Best Gluten-Free Dinner Recipes.

  2. Jessica

I made the creamy butter chicken and the pinto bean collard greens dishes AND THEY BOTH WERE DELICIOUS. Would highly recommend. Followed both exactly as the recipe was written.

  3. Maria

Great variety of Gluten Free Recipes !!
    Thank you..
    I can’t wait to start cooking…👍

  4. Lorna Marsland

Most of these recipes are misleading in that you replace something which doesn’t contain gluten ie rice for something that also doesn’t contain gluten ie buckwheat, which is totally unnecessary. Also, to imply that a gluten free diet is healthy is also misleading. It’s only healthy if you have a gluten intolerance. Meanwhile those who need to buy gluten free pasta, bread etc often find the shelves have been stripped by those pursuing the latest health fad in an attempt to lose weight.

  5. Academy of Culinary Nutrition

Hi Lorna! We highly recommend listening to this podcast episode: https://www.culinarynutrition.com/is-the-gluten-free-diet-a-fad/

  6. Gillian Mitchell

How true Lorna, being a coeliac I am aware how difficult it is to obtain gluten free food because of all these people who believe eating gluten free is good for them when in fact if they are not coeliac, gluten is part of a healthy diet.

  7. Solvey

I would like to know if you are selling a book with all the recipes?

    Thank you,

  8. Academy of Culinary Nutrition

Hi Solvey! These are not our recipes, so we don’t have a cookbook to sell them. You can, however, purchase a copy of From Scratch, our annual e-cookbook for charity. It’s filled with delicious gluten-free and dairy-free recipes, and 100% of the proceeds go to charity. You can find the 2020 version here: https://www.culinarynutrition.com/from-scratch-2020/
